i went sightseeing in the famous speicherstadt quarter in hamburg last night when my eye caught a speck of bright colors. i immediately knew i needed to capture this beautiful piece of wheatpaste. in front of a slightly confused family of four, i climbed over an iron gate - and almost fell into one of the fleet canals in order to get a good shot. and i loved it.

streetart for me is not only about beauty. it contains the element of surprise. adventure and exploration. coloring outside the lines (litterally). questioning societal standards. capturing the essence of a place better than any other art form. a fleeting feeling caught in a temporary piece of art.
